Hot Hot Heat Head for Recording Studio
 Canadian indie-rock band Hot Hot Heat is headed for Los Angeles at the end of June to start pre-production for their new album. Band members keyboardist Steve Bays, guitarist Dante DeCaro, drummer Paul Hawley and bassist Dustin Hawthorne, have been writing and recording at home in Victoria, B.C., Canada since January, and have accumulated about 25 songs to choose from. Dave Sandy, known for his work with Jet, the Thrills, Oasis and Dandy Warhols, will produce and mix the forthcoming album.
