OK, I saw an egg remembering ROCK N ROLL STARS, so im going to make an egg honoring all the greatest rappers, both currently in the game and the ones that already passsed away.
The order of rappers:
1)2pac
2)biggie smalls
3)Big Pun
4)Big L
5)50 cent
6)eminem ( my favorite)
TUPAC SHAKUR (2PAC)
June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996
Tupac is known by his stage names 2Pac and Makaveli, was an American rap artist, actor, and poet. He is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the best-selling rap/hip-hop artist ever, having sold over 73 million albums worldwide , including over 44.5 million sales in the United States alone . Most of Shakur’s songs are about growing up around violence and hardship in ghettos, racism, and sometimes his feuds with fellow rappers. Tupac is known for the political, economic, and racial equality messages in a lot of his work. He has been ranked by many fans, critics, and industry insiders as the greatest rapper ever.
The Notorious B.I.G. (Biggie Smalls)
May 21, 1972 – March 9, 1997)
Born in Brooklyn, Christopher Wallace was raised at the height of the crack cocaine epidemic of the 1980’s, and was a drug dealer in Bedford-Stuyvesant. After becoming a convicted felon, he decided to become a rapper. By the time his critically acclaimed album Ready to Die was released in 1994, he became the central figure of East Coast hip-hop, reviving New York into a hip-hop scene which had previously been focused on West Coast hip-hop. Biggie’s double disc set, Life After Death, sold over 10 million units and is the second best selling hip-hop album of all time. Biggie is remembered for his talents in storytelling and freestyling, and his easy to understand yet complex flow. He is also one of the pioneers of not writing down lyrics on paper. His career was dominated by the Bad Boy/Death Row Records feud during his life; however, following his death in 1997, The Notorious B.I.G. has been celebrated as perhaps the greatest rapper of all time.
Big Pun (Big Punisher)
November 9, 1971 – February 7, 2000
better known as Big Punisher or Big Pun, was a New York rapper of Puerto Rican descent who emerged from the underground rap scene in The Bronx in the late 1990s. He first appeared on albums from The Beatnuts and Fat Joe before signing to Loud Records as a solo artist. Big Pun’s career was cut short in 2000 by a fatal heart attack due to his large size. He was survived by a wife, Liza Rios, and three children. He is especially notable as one of rap’s premier lyricists.
Big L (Lamont Coleman)
(May 30, 1974 – February 15, 1999)
Better known as Big L, was an American rap artist. Big L was born, raised, lived, and fatally shot in the same Harlem neighborhood he so frequently rhymed about. He is mostly remembered for his freestyle ability, his critically acclaimed debut album Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous and his murder at the age of twenty-four. Following Coleman’s death, he has been since celebrated as one of the best emcees of all time, due to his oft-lauded punchlines and razor-sharp lyrics.
50 Cent (Formula 50)
(July 6, 1975-)
50 Cent is a rapper commonly known by his rap name 50 Cent and recognized by the nicknames Fifty Cent and Fiddy Cent. He rose to fame following the success of his albums Get Rich or Die Tryin’ and The Massacre. 50 Cent achieved multi-platinum success with both albums, selling around 22 million albums worldwide. He is known for his gangster image, and prides himself on having been shot nine times and surviving the ordeal.
Eminem (Slim Shady, Marhsall Mathers)
(October 17, 1972-)
Discovered by rapper and producer Dr. Dre, Eminem became a crossover sensation with his debut single "My Name Is", and earned respect for his lyrical talent. He is noted for his ability to change his vocal pace and style multiple times within one song without losing the beat, and has been praised for his skill in alliteration and assonance.To date, Eminem has sold over 65 million albums worldwide. Eminem is also, according to the Guinness World Records, the fastest-selling rap artist.

I am personally not a rap fan, but still voted a five because I thought it was a well thought out egg and actually had some of the talents each rapper had (i know "wtf rappers have skill?") and a bit of history about each. I fear this will get voted down, but best of hopes for you, good luck. |
