In this egg you will fing out what are roms and emulators and how to get them for different plaforms. And this isnt a copy, i just looked at different eggs and i combined then to make one big egg with all the information. so lets begin wit the egg.
first of all
what are roms and emulators?
Emulators - Are computer programs that are used to play roms, for example a playstation emulator can play playstation games on your computer.
Roms - Is the name for the games that are passed around on computers for emulators to run. A Nintendo Donkey Kong 64 Rom can be played on your Nintendo 64 emulator.

Also you would also need a program called winrar ( you dont really need it but it could come in useful if your not good with using computers)
to get winrar you need to go to this website:

and click on the first program which is
WinRAR 3.61
and install it
after you have a rom and a emulator
you need to open them in order to play them
heres how:
first you extract the rom using winrar
and after that you open the emultor and leave the window open.
then you just left click on the rom and hold it and bring it to the emulator window and it will work.

Oct 24, 2006 4:52 pm - torrents are a lot more convient for getting roms, especially with packs of hundreds of games, for basically any system, besides the newer ones, like xbox and ps2 and such
