SLOW BURNING FUSE - 2 inches per minute

*I was unable to put my own pics on this egg sorry but i will go on google and put the things needed up top

Materials needed:

• Cotton string or 3 shoelaces

• Potassium Nitrate or Potassium Chlorate-Example chlorox


• Granulated sugar


Procedure:

1. Wash the cotton string or shoelaces in HOT soapy water, then rinse with fresh water

2. Mix the following together in a glass bowl:
• 1 part potassium nitrate or potassium chlorate
• 1 part granulated sugar
• 2 parts hot water

3. Soak strings or shoelaces in this solution

4. Twist/braid 3 strands together and allow them to dry

5. Check the burn rate to see how long it actually takes!!



FAST BURNING FUSE - 40 inches per minute

Materials needed:

• Soft cotton string
• Fine black powder (empty a few shotgun shells!)
• Shallow dish or pan

Procedure:

1. Moisten powder to form a paste.

2. Twist/braid 3 strands of cotton together.

3. Rub paste into string and allow to dry.

4. Check the burn rate!!!

2nd one is from Arnarchist cookbook.Same with first one exept he said to use shoe laces.There all really old to.0*

Potassium chloride doesnt burn, potassium chlorATE is an oxidizer. Anyway, cotton string: $1.50 at sears for 900 feet plus!

holy crap the word for word outta the anarchists cookbook so i would give you 1* but since you included a household thing (clorox) as an example of the chemical, i will give u 3* cause i didnt no that
