Ok, I know this is the most ghetto thing you’ve probably ever seen, but it’s fun.
This is making a keyboard guitar to play Frets of Fury and games like it.
Now this might not all fall into place, unless you’re using the exact same model as me, but I’m sure you can make it work.

So first you’re gonna need a old cheap keyboard. You can pick one up at a salvation army, goodwill, or even a yard sale if you don’t already have one. Also, it should have plenty of screws on the back.
You’ll need it as square as possible, note I had 2 to choose from. The brand I had was a old Belkin F8E206.
Now just unscrew and take off the back plate, and you’ll see a ton of these little things
This is one key button. It is an elastic type of material which springs back into form after squishing. There are 108 of these, one per key on the keyboard. If you lose one, you lose the function of one key. These devices have a built-in plunger that—when pushed down by a key cap—pushes down on the top keyboard membrane and forces it to connect with the lower keyboard membrane, thus creating a connection which translates into a key press.
Now remove all of the rubber buttons and mark on the plastic sheet approximately where you want the neck of the guitar to be, it has to have some existing keys in the pattern, I used the ~ 1 2 3 and 4 keys, but also had the tab, q, w, ,e and r keys, to give it some strength. Mark it on both sides, but do not cut the plastic layers, as it has small wires running through it, and you’ll short it, rendering the keyboard useless. Try to include as many screw holes as possible, so it’ll be able to be held together.
Now the fun part, cutting. I would just use a small hack-saw or what ever works. If you have the luxury of a table saw, go for it.
Just begin cutting, and take off the pieces in increments, so it wont snap.
I almost forgot something, that was to mention, you should wear a glove while cutting, or you may loose a finger, or split your thumb nail :(
Leather glove > bare skin
Now comepare the bottom with the top, and see if you followed the lines, and if you didn’t make some markups.
Now start the cutting of the top half, you may need to take off some keys to make cutting easier.
(I changed saws half way through, cause I found the band saw easier.
When you’re done with cutting the top, match it up with the bottom to see how you’ve done.
Now place the plastic layers in and line up all the rubber buttons like it was when you first took it apart (with the exception of what you’ve sawed off)
Do what ever you have to to make the power supply to stay perfectly lined up.
Put the covert together without moving the rubber buttons (this can be tricky) and put all the screws in.
You’re basically done, now you can test it out. I took out all the keys I didn’t need to play Frets of Fury.
Just macro them to the game using the options in the game.

Pretty obvious So it wouldnt take a genius, but fuck, thats not what this site is about.

Oh, and it’s called "Frets on Fire". I downloaded the songpacks from the first two GH games, and then I after I really liked it, I bought GH3, and just now, I downloaded the GH3 songpack for this. Lemme give you a link to the GH3 songs.
