Coopz, he sent me a link to a website. The URL was something like http://ff_moderator_add-ons.atspace.com/htmlforums.html. That’s not the actual address but it was similar. He’s targeting Admins and Mods. I suggest everyone (especially Mods and Admins) be extremely careful about clicking links.

The link was not a cookie stealer, it was a cookie translator. Teh1337 has somehow gotten ahold of weasel’s proprietary algorithms for determining cookie text. I assume, anyway. A simple cookie stealer wouldn’t allow for these sorts of things. I am a little impressed, but I still haven’t seen Anything amazing. you’re reaching, teh1337.

I agree. A regular cookie stealer would be simple to overcome. All the_Overlord would have to do is log out, clear cookies, log back in. If I recall correctly, you can’t change login details with a regular cookie stealer. Otherwise Bone would have killed my account, as well as many others. Here, he has done just that- changed the email addy.

Actually, I’m a little less impressed than I let on. It was most certainly not a math genius who wrote the algorithms in the first place, and therefore they would have been easy to determine by guess and check if he got enough cookies. All you would need are the login knowledge for two different accounts, and the cookies from them, and you could determine a simple algorithm quite easily, thus writing a 5cript to reverse engineer cookies.
