this is a topic going on in god like, and because i’m not a member of that group i’ll post my opion here........
who cares, u live in the United States u can’t stop something just becasue u don’t like it, people are free to seek the pursuit of happiness and if that means marrying someone thats the same sex as you fine. I can’t believe this nation is so hypocritical, thats why we supposely went into iraq to give people there freedom (were not conqurers were liberators), but instead we are taking away our freedom here. We have the bill of rights and our constitution saying we are all created equal, so its unfair to put restrictions on some people (that have done nothing wrong) and not have those restricitons on others. Thats what our country was founded on, so stop being homophobic, it’s not going to affect u, fu*king christ, grow up.

i totally agree with druglord.
being "gay" is just like having a gross fetish. although i really dont see the point in it, im not gonna outlaw it, because more laws equals less freedom, even if the law is for teh better.
i know at least 8 poeple who are either gay, lesbian, or bi at my school.

alright, first off moose, if u kill a person then u interupt that persons persuit of happiness (if its living), and if your like dr. kavorkin(however its spelled) and find people that want to be killed, and do some legal work then u can.
and the legal reason u can’t marry a pet is that beastiallity is outlawed becasue an animal can’t give consent to what you do to them. Its the same reason u can’t marry a 16y/o with out the parents consent because legally there parents are there guardian and have the say so to whatever they do. thats why no-one under 18 can enter into a contract verbal or otherwise

Marriage = Sacred bond between MAN and a WOMAN. 50 years ago, the idea of gay marriage would be unheard of. People back then knew that never in a million years would gay marriage be allowed. But now society is accepting these people. It makes no sense to me. I dont care if they live with each other, but dont allow them to be married in the church before God.

ihatename 50 years ago gay marriage was unheard of in the u.s., in asia homosexuality has been practiced for thousands of years. plus i don’t believe in god, and it has no place in goverment what so ever. what i’m saying is if a church wants to marry a homosexual couple then let them, but the goverment has no place in saying they can’t. Plus when catholic preists molested little boys 30 years ago, why can’t those gay men now marry one another

In New Zealand the government is run by awhole bunch of queers. Late last year a Civil unions bill was passed, now all these queers are pushing for the right to have gay marriages. Gays will not stop. Last year one gay politician even suggested we change the age of consent down to 12 yrs old.
It honestly makes me sick thinking about what these homosexuals are doing to my country.

hank, its your country, but its theirs too, if u don’t like what people are doing, then turn a blind eye. No ones for forcing u to go to their weddings, there just trying to get the equal right to share a special bond with someone they love, and the goverment shouldn’t block it because the bible says its wrong, again.....RELIGON HAS NO PLACE IN GOVERMENT IF U WANT THAT GO TO IRAN

ihatenames, only one of the defintions has between the member of op. sex, they have the others because theres more than one meaning to almost everything. example

So gay marriage was unheard of a few years ago? The Earth was thought to be flat a few years ago. Let them marry dude, just make them build their own gay churches and stuff with a gay god if it means that much to you. You’re acting like adults over children "no tv is best for my son because it will make his eyes square"="no marriage is best for gay people because it will make their asses loose". Who gives a fuck? It’s their life, not yours. America needs a gay president. That would make me laugh. Even better if he had a husband.
