How to teach him Sit command properly?
Sit is one of the universal commands that every dog should know, but some just can’t manage to teach their dogs to sit calm. First of all, you need to have a treat he likes close to his head. The dog will probably not want to sit at the first try, so you have to make him sit. Use your hands to hold his body in the sitting position, while holding the treat in the other hand above his head.
He has to follow the treat by looking at it. Once he remains calm in the sitting position, give him a treat, say “Good boy” or anything similar to teach him to understand the satisfied voice when he accomplishes what he was supposed to and hug him. It is important to repeat this process many times until he realizes that he has to sit down and stay in place before he gets the treat.

With the leash around this neck, go down to his level/height and pull the leash gently, saying “Come”.

One of the best commands is “stay” since it allows you to order your dog to stay calm without going anywhere. It is one of the most difficult commands to learn and it really takes a lot of time and practice before he learns it properly. To start teaching him this, you have to teach him “sit” command, as it starts with it.
After he “sits”, you have to open the palm of your hand, say “Stay” and slowly take a few steps back. In the beginning, he will probably follow you after a few steps, but every time he stays, give him a treat.
Repeat the exercise and increase the number of steps you take every time and do not forget to give him a reward every time, even if he stays for a couple of seconds.
